At the legendary bigmin's request, I upgraded the board to php 7.4 and phpbb 3.3.0 to fix issues that made it so nobody could post. It was a multi-version jump and hard to preserve the original posts and database but I think everything moved over except the site theme.

There are some existing ones but, as I understand it, the majority of phpbb-infiltrated spambots make one or two posts directly after registration and then become inactive. I removed a bunch of them and added some new required registration questions as well. If it gets worse, I will take more drastic measures. While we're on the topic, does anyone know any good links to kitchen-related online stores?

I'm going to add an extra moderator and work on something to counteract this spam, it is getting out of hand and I don't know how they're getting through but I'll try to find a way to stop it.
