Re: Worst Show/s
several years ago a friend once convinced me to go with him (even bought me a ticket) to a show that was like the chariot, chelsea grin, eyes set to kill, i wrestled a bear once, and some other bands. it was at greene street, the first 2 bands or so were pretty forgettable, chelsea grin were an abso...

Record store thread
let's talk about our favorite record stores and stuff. I'm in Sacramento for the week and none of the record stores i've been to have a good punk selection. So does anyone know of any good shops in the area?

Re: People's Temple Project (NY)
man this sounds surprisingly good for your setup. the rawness really compliments the music (which is fucking great).
I would definitely like to hear something a tad clearer though.

Re: bands on tour this summer, videos, reviews, etc
If I ever start a band, I'll be happy if I can at least get a drummer and guitarist. It's hard enough finding people that have somewhat similar music taste. I haven't met anyone yet. one doesn't necessarily need to be into a kind of music to have fun playing it, and luckily screamo is fun to play r...

Re: bands on tour this summer, videos, reviews, etc
whoa, that is intense. I try to use as few pedals as possible, just a footswitch really. pedals are a whole realm of guitar playing that i like to stay away from unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. Mics and pedals keep me glued to one place when playing live and i'm not down with that, but sometimes compro...

Re: bands on tour this summer, videos, reviews, etc
I found that three different bands in this thread don't have bass players. Has the trend caught on or are bass players just tough to come by? MEMBERS IN GENERAL are hard to come by, at least where i live. anne hero is literally the bare minimum of people we need to do shows right now because we can...
