Well... After a few too many crises, being homeless, having my fiance leave me, and just pretty typical skramz junk that I'm sure a lot of you might relate with, I thought about not only humanity, but all of life as we know it, from every festering maggot to every single celled disease bacterium to every predator and prey, to every businessman and unemployed jerk off... Maybe I watched too much anime or something, but I thought about how suicide is never the answer. It never is. How could you leave behind a world of suffering by jabbing a giant knife into it, spreading the suffering more thickly onto everyone else? You could never do that. All you could do is suck it up and try to be happy, to make the world a better place and all that, because there's too many people you love to bring upon more misery. But what if, I thought, what if we could just set off 2,500 WMDs, doomsday devices, and nuclear warheads all at once, all spaced out all over the globe. Everything would die all at once. All the suffering of existence would cease, and no one would be around to remember it or be pained by. Oblivion would engulf everything. Did you ever think about where you could possibly get your hands on weapons grade uranium? I know I have. But then, sometimes life can be so beautiful. Sometimes, when you find a new band that had been right under your eyes for years, but you hear it for the first time and you feel so... good. Fuck. It makes you want to scream out to everyone, "No, no... Hold on a just a second. Call it off. Don't hit the switch. Don't drop the nuke."

I don't know.

there is no such thing as newjack nihilism.
there is no such thing as technical nihilism.
there is no such thing as nihilism 'only up until a point'.
there is nothing specifically nihilistic about either looking at, throwing oneself, or even pushing others into abysses.
there is only the void itself. nihilism is only the pole of negation which radiates rejection of all belief, which trusts no one and has no specific thesis or premise, only unapologetic existence. 'active vs passive' even misses the point; consider nihilism as 'pure being'...

as for this apocalyptic nonsense, i hope you aren't serious? have you watched the movie twelve monkeys too many times?

Not particularly.

Never. Anime and JRPGs. I said that.
Sometimes a wave of feeling sick that starts in my stomach pours out and shoots all over my body until I can feel it making me dizzy. I sit down and my thoughts are circular.

Sucks for you. I'm pretty used to it.

I actually do vocals and write lyrics, but I've never found musicians dedicated enough to write songs. I've almost gotten somewhere with people that play more of an indie sound, but rarely hardcore sound.
