exactly man MELT BANANA, i've seen them a couple times (once with portugal the man acutally) and its a sure-fire bet that their set is going to be straight punk energy that never fails. i'd totally be down to see tera melos though, and i'd definitely be curious to see how all those beautifully noodley parts hold up during the live show... i will say on their behalf that patagonian rats wasn't just a few hits it was an ALBUM. Haven't seen boris so i can't comment there but coliseum's drummer definitely impressed the shit out of me at dude fest '07 (dude's got some fucking speed and looks like a crazy pirate, double props), although i have a few friends on here that will hate on them all day no problem so... to each his own.

Mp143 please pm me if you get the chance. I too live in Okinawa and I am curious about the music scene as I am just getting into it. I'm seeing unripe, cops, and off season I believe December 12th. Talk to you later hopefully.

Just so this isn't a total waste this is Inforest and they used to sound more metalcore I guess, but now they sound like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7o1toDP ... re=related. I am glad these guys were my first live performance even if it was with a bunch of metalcore bands.
