Recent Science Fiction Experiences:
- Finally got around to finishing FRINGE. I was bummed that "first people" story line sort of faded out and was wrapped up hastily. There's a thousand time travel problems that can probably be discussed too. But overall, a great watch.
- Season 1 of CONTINUUM is on Netflix and finished it off in about a week. Interested to see how time travel is handled more in depth here, but I love the past/present Alec character and how it's being executed. Looking forward to season 2.
- Started reading FOUNDATION by Isaac Asimov. It's the first in the series, so I realize I'm going to get hooked and half to read them all. It's pretty amazing work and I'm only about halfway through. There's some excellent commentary on power struggles, religion and politics all cast in a futuristic, classic science fiction setting.
