What other bands sound most like I Hate Myself?
They sound kind of unique to me, being more sad than angry. They hit the perfect sweet spot in between screamo and emo for me. They sound like if Mineral had a baby with Anomie.
So far I can think of Catena Collapse and maybe Twelve Hour Turn

They are the saddest band for me personally. Drama in the Emergency room is the quintessential emo song no contest.
Great vocal delivery and guitar tone.
