I hung out mainly with the guys from unripe, the cops, off season, and matreshka. I was also in a couple bands out there. Who did you interview from the cops? I was thinking about repressing a few of the out of print stuff from those bands. And matreshka just realeased a new ep I think you would dig.
Man, I'm shitty with this forum stuff.
Yeah! I've been talking to Tomoya for some various things, but my bud John is doing the interview with him. That scene seems really cool.

Thanks for the love, you should have it by now. And I'm really digging the new anne hero stuff.

This is certainly interesting to me, Gauge Means Nothing and Nitro Mega Prayer were awesome.
They've been doing this stuff for a really long time, almost as long as everywhere else. Sawpit was an early Japanese emotional hardcore band that released stuff on Ebullition in the late 90's. Unlike most places, you can purchase hardcore/screamo/whatever at record stores in most every major city in Japan. Because of the way stuff is distributed, you can go pick up the new Orchid album or envy album. So it was a lot easier for people to find stuff. Also, screamo bands have been touring in Japan for a long time.
