I know this is a fairly significant bump, but I wanted to mention that I am wholly behind this initiative. I have been trying to surface footage from 'indiemo' groups like American Football, Mineral and Jejune for a few years now, but at the same time I'm also looking for recordings of Orchid, Yaphet Kotto, and other, uh, 'skramz' bands. I have been saving up for a better computer so I can transfer whatever tapes end up in my posession. Once that happens, I plan to act as an 'archive' for these tapes.
If anyone happens to have any footage of bands like Mineral, Christie Front Drive, Jejune, American Football, (pre-reunion) Cap'n Jazz, Orchid, Yaphet Kotto, The Spirit of Versailles, The Khayembii Communique, Saetia, etc., please PM me or reply to this thread! I'd love to see anything you have. If it's on VHS/Hi8/VHS-C and you'd be comfortable with sending me a copy, I will transfer it as soon as I have the proper equipment. If it's on DVD, which I can rip right now, I'd be happy to do so.
there needs to be more skramz videos on youtube
