does this band know there was another screamo/metal band called not waving but drowning from missouri that put out a bunch of releases and toured, etc.?

I wouldn't use the term screamo. We're huge I hate myself fans. Because some people can't let go of the old stl metalcore band, we will be changing our name soon. Cheers.

i hate myself pretty much just ripped off the Stevie Smith poem "not waving but drowning" with that song. in fact the first line in the song is also in the poem.

we'd like to get east soon but 2 of us are doing that college gig so the farthest east we'll make it for awhile is probably pittsburgh

me too! I just got back from a cancelled acoustic tour with a folk punk band because our vehicle got broken into by the science center in STL. I hope the same doesnt happen on this weekend tour
