I like this thread but I can totally see a lot of lame arguments breaking out, because of assholes who take it too seriously.

Anyway, I contemplated my last post.... and I realized that nowadays, it's not about East-coast or West-coast, it's about Europe fucking us all in the ass with bangin' skram Neither side wins.

Least true statement ever. I love Euro screamo, but it will never be on USA's level. The diversity in the music here trumps Europe.

I'm glad to be surrounded by bands like Algernon Cadwallader, Snowing, Towers, We Were Skeletons, Hop Along, 1994!, Boys and Sex, Boyfriends, Title Fight, Tigers Jaw, Daylight and Paint It Black.

That said, west coast has awesome bands too.
