By the way, do the dubbed voices in Neon Genesis annoy anyone else? I can't watch it in English because Asuka makes me want to fucking punch myself in the dick.

Watched the Berserk movie the other night. Was fun to watch some of the scenes I really liked from the original anime with actual swords swinging and arrows flying haha. But overall it was a bit of a rushed mess and I can't see how it would make sense to anyone who hasn't seen the anime or read the manga. The art style also didn't really fit the grim mood that the anime had.

She's supposed to be half nipponese too, which kinda makes the name make sense a little bit?

I dunno, the fucking nips don't know how to figure out foreigners whatsoever. Seriously, if somebody's from America or England they're automatically blonde and blue eyed and annoying or they're giant, silent black people with sunglasses. WAY TO NOT BE RACIST, JAPAN. WAY TO FUCKING GO.

That chick that does Asuka's voice is in so many animes it's annoying.
Re watched Blue Seed pretty recently and I'm re watching the Eva movies(all of them) for like the 12th or 13th time this week.

have you seen genocyber? i'm not even sure that's considered cyberpunk... anyways, most people don't like it because it's basically a chick flick (kind of like elfen lied), but i'm into it:

it kind of feels like five separate ova's loosely strung together, but it was from the early 90's - when anime was less story and more showy (i think). which is probably my favorite era as it is the kind i grew up watching.
