yeah but we'd be recording to MP3, or some other digital format. do you have someway of recording onto a tape, or are you going to be super circa-90s and put the tape player up to a speaker and hit that record button and get some epic screamo quality?xdylanx wrote: I have a tape deck. Well today I tried to use it to play tapes and the sound came out all fucked up but I'm not sure exactly whats wrong with it. I've made tapes before by burning a CD and playing it on my stereo with the output going to the input on the tape deck.seansucks wrote:yeah but we'd be recording to MP3, or some other digital format. do you have someway of recording onto a tape, or are you going to be super circa-90s and put the tape player up to a speaker and hit that record button and get some epic screamo quality?xdylanx wrote: I have a tape deck. Fuck this shit. There needs to be a sass revival, and then an accomplaying sass revival comp.
Call it Diamond Dust Shoes and have the cover be a guy's coke covered face with spit chains leading to what can only be assumed to be an off camera penis.

i have a tape duplicator. it copies 3 tapes at a time. cases would be around $20 for 100 of them and the tape costs would vary depending on how many minutes you want per side. sorry to nerd out haha i just know a lot about this crap because i've been doing my own tapes for awhile now.

also to get some sweet sound quality, i hook my stereo up to my computer and copy the songs(wav. format files usually) on to a high bias tape to make a master tape to copy from.plus i have photoshop to make inserts and what not.xinskramzwecrustx wrote:i have a tape duplicator. it copies 3 tapes at a time. cases would be around $20 for 100 of them and the tape costs would vary depending on how many minutes you want per side. sorry to nerd out haha i just know a lot about this crap because i've been doing my own tapes for awhile now.
