you guys have links or contacts for some of these distros?
some of these are really hard to find via google.

I'm really interested in people that still do reviews/interviews and the like via zines or blogs.

bummer. i hate business-y
Hehe I dunno, I just remember buying from you a while back and being a little intimidated because of all the things for sale. Like "jeez they must really have their shit together or be some crazy corporation with a huge warehouse and a human resources department" I was just used to tiny distros who don't have enough items to have to pay for a bigcartel account.
He can speak for himself, but I'm pretty sure he runs this out of his house. Oddly enough, Ebullition has a warehouse.

Moreover, I don't see how having your shit together is a bad thing.
Didn't say that having your shit together was a bad thing, I meant that it would be a bitch running that out of his house or room or whatever because there are so many things on his site, but (having had no problems with his distro or hearing anything other than what Bear just said) he must really have his shit together or be some crazy buisness etc etc. I also didn't say that I have had no problems with Vinyljunkie at all.

Just to make sure I didn't hurt anyone else's feelings, Bear and IFB are not "buisness-y" and I can't stress enough how awesome these distros/dudes are.

some distros i support personally other than my own: robotic empire, ifb, tor johnson, forever escaping boredom, adagio/bis aufs messer, sncl, react with protest, moment of collapse, time as a color, arctic radar,

... and a lot more that i forgot.

Dude. seriously? Ive heard from a couple people that you were talking shit about the distro, but now i see personally that you really have been.
The reason you have had problems "getting paid" from Vinyl Junkie, is because you didnt tell me what you sent or how much to pay, etc. And i told you that.
You sent your releases in along with a tiny notepad sheet with your name scribbled on it, and your address. nothing more. not even a label name or anything. (i know because i still have it in your folder)
You contacted me about getting paid for the stuff you sent in a while after you sent your releases in and i replied right away that i still have your "invoice" that you sent me, and it doesnt say WHAT you sent in, how many copies of what you sent in, nor does it say how much you want for the releases you sent in. Its very difficult to pay someone when you have no record of what you got, or how much you owe. Im not sure how you can complain about that (especially when you are telling other people not to support the distro because of it).
I have never claimed that i dont owe you any money. I explained all of this to you before and asked for more information from your end a long time ago. which ive never recieved. I told you, if you want to get paid ill gladly pay you, just like i pay all of the other 150 labels/bands i deal with on a regular basis, i just need you to send me a copy of an invoice to tell me what you sent and how much you want for it. Which im assuming since you hand wrote the little sheet, you no longer have any record at this point about what you sent and when, etc.

Im sorry you feel screwed over by the deal, but i really dont understand what you expect me to do. If you send releases in to ANY distro without any information accompanying it, you cant expect to get a quick payment (or any payment at all). I explained this to you personally/privately in an email, so why you didnt understand that then, i dont know.
Its a bummer too cause i like the stuff that you release.
