My band does the same thing with lights. It does help set the mood.Monument wrote:the vocals kind of rub me the wrong way. also, kind of a silly thing, but i'm not huge on diy bands with light shows.

Re: NATIVE (indiana)
Ah snap. Everything I know about music and life comes from a band that is from my hometown Houston TX, that band is D.R.I.
ethically, musically, financially, politically, basically the way I define who I am as a person comes from D.R.I.
I'm gonna go ahead and state the obvious D.R.I. has and will always be more important to most than Native will ever be.
So instead of having this exercise in futility, debating whether Native sucks or not, lets all just talk about how D.R.I. is fucking amazing.
here's a video with some pictures that will prove my point:

that's true.
All that's left is my Four of A Kind Cassette, holding onto it.

Four Of A Kind is probably D.R.I.'s worst album but its still better than 99.9999999999999999% of all music that isn't made by D.R.I.

finally saw d.r.i. a few months ago.they played almost everything from thrash zone! amazing! i wish they would have played more of the dirty rotten e.p. the crucifucks and meatmen live in the same town as me. then negative approach is an hour away!
