Montreal show was soooooo good.
Wish I had money to snag one of those Lumens test press. I fucking love this album.

Riderofbrohan and I jammed out when we saw them! They killed it. I love all their stuff! Hours and lumens have some of the best lyrics I ever read in my life. I just wish they would have played their pre-hours stuff when I saw them. That stuff will always be my favorite material by them. Especially the songs on the demo and suffix split!
Re: BEAU NAVIRE LUMENS
This makes me infinitely jealous. There were NO copies at the Toronto show, all you guys ate them up! Trei was so apologetic but I'm more stoked that the band was able to rocket through their copies that quickly! There's also a rumour floating around that the demo's getting a vinyl pressing in the near future.... MUHAHAHA.O))) wrote:Montreal show was soooooo good.

Either way that show was great and these new songs translate so well in a live setting. I was especially impressed with Prisms and Disgust & Fate. As for listening to the actual record, I don't know if it's the mood I'm in or what, but it's taking me a lot longer to warm up to than I thought it would. This isn't saying I think it's particularly good or bad, it's just that Hours had a lot more hooks.

yeah man, i will never forget this show. thanks again for all the free swag dude, we bumped the xTTADx demo on the way home. BN rocked my fucking socks off. i mean, so did WWS and the reptilian, but beau navire was, dare i say, life moving. really wish they had played more from hours and some old stuff too but i am SEW satisfied. my friend who's not even into screamo came and he dug it.plasticsmilerecords wrote:Riderofbrohan and I jammed out when we saw them! i'd kill for one of those test presses, wish they came to GR sooner, but at least we got the actual LP first hahaha. i'm very intrigued by this pressing of the demo rumor. Disgust and Fate was a GREAT closer.Bentwreck wrote: This makes me infinitely jealous. There were NO copies at the Toronto show, all you guys ate them up!
