Black Metal Appreesh

I thought they were a "given" (don't know if that's the right word, sorry!) band in this genre, haha. I love them, they have been one of my favourites for years in the black and viking metal genres. I listened to Arntor yesterday, thinking of giving 1184 a spin tonight.

drudkh, weakling, peste noire, darkthrone, burzum, akitsa are all some of my favorite bm bands.

"hipster black metal" i guess would be most of the new shit coming out on youth attack records and such. raspberry bulbs, horrid cross, ash pool, torture chain, sexdrome, hex noir.. i like horrid cross and some of the other bands efforts are good.. but it just doesn't beat the classic. i also don't like wolves in the throne room.. woods of ypres aren't that great either.
