Those charts always make shows look pretty bad, but I'll probably try out the first episodes of most of the series. Guess I'll have to finally watch Bakemonogatari and SS Amagami now that they have sequels coming out.

Finally finished Kino's Journey. Loved it. Starting Amagami SS now.

And yeah, Grave of the Fireflies is brutal. The worst part is that for the entire movie you know that the two main characters are going to die, and you can only watch them get pushed around by everyone. So bad, but still one of my favourite movies.

Sorry I just remembered about this this thread and that I posted in it...

Genocyber is a 4 part ova that came out in the early 90s I think. Prettty bloody and the story is pretty cool. I suppose this would fall under the cyber punk anime genre, I own it on vhs.

Demon city Shinjuku is a bit older (id say 87/88) and you can defiantly tell. The story is ok and the animation is decent, I just have a thing for older anime. I'm pretty sure the dude that made it went on to work on stuff like ninja scroll, or some other anime like that. But I really dunno for sure.

Id defiantly recomend genocyber over shinjuku.

just watched the eden of the east series and the first movie recently, pretty good
