True that The Mantle is fucking great. Agalloch is amazing. I highly recommend listening to Ashes Against the Grain if you haven't its a masterpiece. Pale Folklore is great too.

Only Black metal I could listen to was "Wolves In The Throne Room". Enough for me:)

Thanks for the rec, will take a listen. Never really had recommendations for BM, basically got into WITTR since they were on a tour with Fall of Efrafa.

just listen to Summoning, Bal-Sagoth, Fangorn, Elffor, Nazgûl and Rivendell.

Edit: Bal-Sagoth aren't LOTR themed, btw. Try Mytic River, even though bad dls of that band scarred my ear drums.

I dunno I always thought Shining was kinda....suck. ColdWorld is good, so Is dopamine but Forgotten Tomb is by far the best depressive bm band I've listened too.
