actually i think smoking almost any time before or after is probably helpful

generally i find the more sleep the better, but sometimes that's not possible...
sometimes puking can make you feel soo much better... no shame.

Water is a given, and coffee usually helps me, depending on how drunk I got. My family makes Balkan style yogourt, and that stuff seems to work wonders when I'm hungover. It could be just because I'm used to it, but yeah, eating a healthy breakfast is probably one of the most important things to do.

what works for me is:

sleep as much as possible
get fresh air
drink lots of water
throw up if you have to
eat whatever (usually ice cream is the only thing that works for me)
go do sports
