cmhwak old timers- how do you pay the rent?

Post by trent_pee »

I'm feeling too old on here. this is a bitch-about-your-job thread.

I'm a cook. I used to be a chef and it was a real pain in the ass being in charge. now that I'm not really responsible for anything it's made life a lot easier. plus I get paid the same.

I'm not an old timer, but I manage a business that sells continuing education to attorneys whilst attending school. Job sucks (as all jobs do) but at least it's flexible hours and easy.

Chances are I'll be working here forever though.

I work at a law firm doing legal coding. It's real monotonous but it pays well and the hours are flexible. I've certainly had worse jobs in the past.

Currently, a combination of personal savings and my meager pay as a teaching assistant. In the past; actual, real jobs. Including writing/reporting, editing, PR, and a brief but hilarious stint as a translator.
