Favorite hardcore/punk bands of the last few years?

The new Swamp Thing fucking shreds. So them, Black Kites, and I'll probably get shit for it, but Defeater.

what the fuck ever, defeater is awesome. i hate people who shit on "bro" hardcore just because it has a tendency to draw neanderthals to their shows.

Had to check this band out since they will be playing in my city this week. Well the vote is in, I fucking hate it. The lyrics make me wanna punch the kid in the face that is singing, they're awful, riffs are so weak, uninspired cliche hardcore, boring...

Any time you even think about listening to this band or Nails just do yourself a favor and put on a Crossed Out record instead.

Defeater is not bro-core. The whole concept behind their records is so awesome and the lyrics are awesome. It's such a cool story and the music is totally neat-o.

I can pretty much get behind this list except Ceremony. I really can't stand that band. Mind Eraser and Comadre are great though and Raw Nerve is great hardcore for the emos.
