Is there really no thread about this? Post yr vinyl/cassette/cd/whatever of bands or labels.
Here is a pic of my pretty tame Loma Prieta collection. I actually didn't really ever plan to 'collect' these but I ended up with them. More of a 'rarer versions' collection than a complete deal.
I DO want a Euro tour Last City, a record release Dark Mtn and a Life/Less test press though.
The only band I've actively tried to collect is The Icarus Line. I probably have complete discographies of other bands and labels, but those just happened over time and weren't a deliberate effort. For example, I know I have a complete first press Blood Brothers discography that way. I don't have any pictures of my records so here is just the text:
7"
The Icarus Line "highlypuncturingnoisetestingyourabilitytoHATE"
The Icarus Line "Red and Black Attack"
The Icarus Line "Kill Cupid with a Nail File"
The Icarus Line "Party the Baby Off"
The Icarus Line/Burning Brides split
The Icarus Line/Ink and Dagger split
12"
The Icarus Line "Mono"
The Icarus Line "Up Against the Wall Motherfuckers"
The Icarus Line “Penance Soirée” 2xLP
The Icarus Line demo (tape)
I'm just missing the following UK-only 7"s
The Icarus Line "Feed a Cat to Your Cobra"
The Icarus Line "Love is Happiness"
I almost have jeromes dream's collection. Missing the red/black the skull splits with orchid, presents cd, brown cover of their split w/july, and a few cover and color vinyl(blue) variations their split 7" w/amalgamation. i almost have toru okada's vinyl discography. i need one cover variation of the olive tree split 7". I'm very close to having all of spirit of versailles 7"s. i just need the blue tour addition of their split with rise from ruin. the only band collection i've completed vinyl wise that's screamo is d'amore. i have more stuff too. http://deadformat.net/tradelist/xICYxBLUExSMILEx check it.
Why did you put "1st press" after every record you own? Not only is this ridiculous because most of those only ever had one pressing to begin with, but you got some hilarious errors in there.
For example, that Orchid 10" had an initial pressing on clear red, clear orange, and black. The blue version is a much later repress.
The Portraits of Past LP was produced in quantities of about 17,000 copies over various pressings over the years. The green version you have is actually from the first press. They're leftovers sold with inside out covers from other LPs.
The other color variations are from the end of the pressing run, but they're most certainly not the "2nd press".

idk i just felt like it. technically if its the records only press it still would be their first press. there might be some errors here and there but who cares. most of the errors are probably from what other people posted in deadformat and discogs. that's where i found most of my info on them, so sorry not everything is up to your standards. did you spell check it too? haha Since other people fucked up on those websites you're probably going to see even more errors on other tradelists as well. you should update deadformat if you know so much dude. god knows ebullition isn't going to do it.

I have many gaps in my collection. It really sucks when you're one record away from completing a discography and you can't find it. There's a lot of bands like that on my list. Most of the discography's of bands that I have are bands that only released a couple records, (Welcome The Plague Year, Light The Fuse, Puritan, etc,) although, I do have all the Neil Perry stuff. There's a pic floating around on this board somewhere.
