scratch that about SOV. this band fucking rules. sov is a bit more melodic. Bigmin is right, "Usurp is straight violence."

SOV is close, their violence parts are so nasty though.

While I dont really rate Usurp that much (although "I'm a fufufucking vampire" is a mondo tune and should be on any self respecting screamo mix) they laid down some crucial groundwork. I'd say there's be no Blood Brothers without them, for starters.

I dont really dig the sketchy sex-humour angle but maybe that's just too sass for me.

Oh really? I didnt know that. I always thought that BB cribbed a lot of moves from US , Racebannon and Song of Zarathustra. To the extent that I had them tagged as copyists. Colour me wrong.

I have always been under the impression that BB took a lot of influence from Antioch Arrow. AA influenced BB.
