Instrumental covers are just childish and misguided hero worship (and when applied to hardcore, hero worship of guys who most likely now work at Kinko's), but there is just something about vocal covers that just goes to ten on the "your balls are showing" meter.

I feel like the people that do vocal covers are those same guys that want to be in a band but never bothered to learn an instrument. It's like bro, everyone can scream, good job.

I've heard of people that did vocal covers on youtube and someone contacted them for their band, but how hard is it to learn to play guitar? I mean really.

we're talking about filming it. i do drum covers all the time, its a great way to practice. but filming it and posting it online is LAME!

I'm talking about filming it for the specific purpose of posting it on youtube, not for any rehearsal purposes or even filming it for private purposes.

Definitely, an Alesana vocal cover in 2010 is pure passion, not fashion :___)

The worst are vocals covers of someone doing some shitty fry scream when the real scream is x1000 times louder. Disgraceful
