What do you think of them?
I think sometimes they can ruin a band if they sound too forced and end up sounding like the dude from La Dispute. Some bands can pull it off really well though. Most of them time it sounds better not in English, but it really works on the new Matsuri record.

talking parts tend to ruin everything... but i guess it depends what they're talking about. i hate when they talk about the scene or whatever

seriously! I have a weakness for foreign screamo. listening to bands speak in their native language is a feeling of instant gratitude. Not knowing the lyrics or the meaning behind them kills me but the raw passion and emotion the instruments and vocals provide is more than appreciated.
there is that damn skramz word again. I'm not exactly sure why but it irritates me.

I personally love spoken parts. Adds more emotion to the song if it sounds good imo.
A few I think do it quite well -
Envy
Optimus Prime
Heaven in Her Arms
The Saddest Landscape/Her Breath on Glass
The Hope and the Failure
The Spirit of Versailles
The list could go on and on.

I was gonna post them as an example of doing it well because it sounds real.

dude it's just like anime. It sounds way better to listen to it in the original japanese language than to hear the annoying english dubs.
