to be honest, i enjoyed "old pride" more than this one. Although i will agree that the drums on this new record are pretty wild.

Re: new peeanus becomes teh teeth
I guess this one is more consistent. Old Pride had some really good songs that kind of outdid the rest of the album, IMO - "Pensive" and "Sleepshaker" are probably the only songs I still listen to, and that part in "Filial" where they sound a lot like La Quiete.
The drumming is indeed awesome on the new one, and there's a lot less of the post-rock pretentiousness that made Old Pride lame at times. "Shared Bodies" and "Such Confidence" are probably my favourite songs.

really enjoy this band. hence the username. the new album is very well done.
Re: new peeanus becomes teh teeth
I can't get into it like I did with Old Pride, which I don't really listen to anymore because it got overplayed.

who cares about this band when a lot of new screamo bands are releasing demos, splits, ep's, and lp's.
