to be honest, i enjoyed "old pride" more than this one. Although i will agree that the drums on this new record are pretty wild.

I guess this one is more consistent. Old Pride had some really good songs that kind of outdid the rest of the album, IMO - "Pensive" and "Sleepshaker" are probably the only songs I still listen to, and that part in "Filial" where they sound a lot like La Quiete.

The drumming is indeed awesome on the new one, and there's a lot less of the post-rock pretentiousness that made Old Pride lame at times. "Shared Bodies" and "Such Confidence" are probably my favourite songs.

I can't get into it like I did with Old Pride, which I don't really listen to anymore because it got overplayed.

who cares about this band when a lot of new screamo bands are releasing demos, splits, ep's, and lp's.
