strictly no capital letters should have copies in the next few days for UK emo dudes.
Anyways, Wits End is ex and current members of your favorite bands from Norway (catena collapse, the birds are spies they report to the trees, and youth pictures of florence henderson). They just had a 7" come out on Adagio830, and this is in the same vein as that.
This is the first Perfect Future release with the new lineup. Still political emotional hardcore with a bit of noodly.
You can stream both songs on this 7" at the bands respective bandcamp page.

Perfect Future / Wits End (ex catena collapse) split 7"
Moderators: klefmop, neck_cannon, Andrew, thebigmin, steven
Re: Perfect Future / Wits End (ex catena collapse) split 7"
Really solid split. Excellent jams
Re: Perfect Future / Wits End (ex catena collapse) split 7"
didn't know that they were ex catena collapse and tbastrtt (really loved them). pretty much enjoyed the first 7" wits end put out because their sound leaned more towards the nineties spectrum, especially the vocals which were very tbastrtt-esque. looking forward a full length from them!

So I assume you're the Brendan of PF, which would make you the (well, one of) the Brendan from Houston We Have a Problem?brendan wrote:http://odebygd.bigcartel.com/ - Sweden (also have copies of the perfect future/list split 12")

Man, I love Perfect Future, but HWHaP is perhaps my favorite hardcore band ever. Some of the most amazing stuff I have ever heard.

Whenever I see Perfect Future I think of this band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45TEYZp213E
Re: Perfect Future / Wits End (ex catena collapse) split 7"
haha, yeahs I was the 2nd Brendan in HWHAP that was only on Punk is Dead and some live stuff. Such a fun band to play in. Every now and then we talk about doing some sort of reunion, but Eric is off being a scientist and the other Brendan claims he can't remember any of the songs. If anything, I would like to try to rerecord some of the tracks from Punk Is Dead, because by the end we had changed the songs quite a bit and I also would love to hear those songs with my parts played through decent gear. Anyways, thanks a whole lot man. Did you ever check out Who Goes There? It was 3/5 HWHAP and I think they perfected the sound that hwhap was going for.Phil wrote:

I'm not sure if you know this, but the new bassist for PF is Matt who played bass throughout all of HWHAP.
Re: Perfect Future / Wits End (ex catena collapse) split 7"
I didn't know who the newer bassist was, so that should make for some cool music.
Yeah, I have listened to Who Goes There? a bunch. They're pretty awesome too, but it's a shame that they seem to be done. I was wondering though, did HWHaP do any physical releases either while you were or weren't in the band? I wish I had more than CDrs I burnt for myself haha.

Phil,
We had cd-r's for Punk is Dead, which were written on with Sharpie. The first 30 or so looked really cool and were pretty much the same, and then we started getting really goofy with inside jokes and references to lemonparty.org and such. We never did a real pressing though because at that point we were really embracing the idea of giving out all our merch for free and then telling people to download the cds when we ran out. Shipwreck had a really cool package (still a cd-r though). Let me root around a bit to see if I can come up with any of them. Also, what size shirt are you? I might be able to find one.
Zo,
SUP!?

I'm a medium, but I can make a large work.
I might worship you as some sort of a diety if you could find anything, haha. Thanks a bunch.
