Not really into either, but Usurp Synapse because I like Jeromes Dream less.

Usurp Synapse talked more shit and pissed off more squares. Those are pretty much the best things a band can do in my book.

This is really in need of some more discussion. They really were doing their own thing musically and there was a brief time where every local band was doing this style. Seriously, you'd go to a show and there was at least one Usurp Synapse [essentially] cover/tribute band.

im gonna need to go with JD on this one. both bands are the shit but Jeromes Dream are better. if you hate on the vocals you most likely suck

While Usurp Synapse was one of my very first "screamo" bands, I'd have to go with Jerome's Dream, as I've been listening to them a whole lot more lately.

And I don't know what the problem with Spirit of Versailles' vocals is, I quite dig them.
