I agree. From day one everyone has had a free hand to use whatever slurs they'd like and it has almost never happened. We've also had very, very few actual fights. Everyone gets along for the most part and that's good and a lot more that can be said about a lot of other boards. I can only speak for myself, but this is what I value. We get along, we don't have stupid controversy, and we don't attract people who want nothing more than to have stupid controversy.
The thread that spawned all this would have had maybe at most two pages of replies and would have been forgotten in less than a week if people were willing to let it die on its own, but instead we got ten plus pages of moonbattery and three or four side threads about it.
