i was lucky enough to catch them back in the day. fucking incredible live, but i was never a huge fan of the recordings. might need to give them another listen.

I just saw this in the comment section for The Pine's last.fm profile:
"For this show to happen between the four of us at this busy point in life turns out to just not be possible. We were truly excited and will continue to be stoked to play in the very near future, but June 7, 2012 just cannot happen. I must say, again, this isn't due to us not wanting to play, this is because life happens and it happens in unpredictable events. It is all good stuff. If any one person cared for this now cancelled event, thank you for caring in any way possible about a very fun time in our lives. We hope to play soon!"
...is this true? Can anyone confirm? If that is true, that totally sucks because I've been making plans for the past month or so to make it out.
But at the same time, it still sounds like even if they are not playing this show, there will still be future opportunities.
But I ask once more, can anyone confirm?
