Atreyu had that really weak, scene-ey style of playing where like half the song just sounds like single notes being played, with a couple chords interspersed here and there. I recall Silverstein doing this too.

^ yeah I always liked how Atreyu's first album barely sounded heavy, whereas most 00s melodic metalcore bands were produced so to sound as loud and brutal as possible. Their riffs were weak as fuck as well (that mosh part at 1:54 ahah). They sounded like any typical low budget high school metalcore band, which makes it more enjoyable for me somehow.

You guys should go back to listing off 90s metalcore bands though, missing a few of these.
