Na the bassist was in cloud mouth, which was a great band. The other two guys were in victor, fix the sun. I think both old bands are better than their new one.

Really? I didn't think "the kids" were too into them. I think they're the closest thing in the US to actually sounding like a 90s throwback emo band ala Sleepytime Trio or 400 Years.

I understand not liking tiny moving parts but comparing them to the reptilian is absurd. Their vocals, song structure, lyrical content have very little in common. I guess they both tap at some parts but that in no way makes them similar.
