yeah thats the norm here, usually there are no shows in my town but when there are there is usually a bunch of lame ass tough guy "beatdown" bands and one good band playing. occasionally there will be a good show like 2-4 hours from where i live but its so ridiculous driving fartonyxvx wrote:I have to spend $30 just to get to this show. it's like $150 for me and gf to travel to the only big city in this country and back again. so I guess you could say we've spent that on a show. but then again we live in a much more expensive country. we have more money, and things cost more. so it's not entirely proportional. I mean an ordinary new-ish major label CD in a major retail store costs at least $30+.
