Max Payne 1 and 2 are pretty skram.

Myst is basically top skram though.

Also Silent Hill 2 has a PC port that you can get third party patches for whatever resolution you want, works with a 360 controller as well. It's pretty weird to get working on windows 7 though, you need a sound patch and you have to set it to only use one core after the game starts.

Editing a second time to add the Thief games. PC games are basically my jam.

The first Max Payne doesn't like to work on Windows 7 a lot either. Lots of sound glitches. Props for saying Max Payne 1 and 2 though. My all time favorite games.

Chrono Trigger ain't no PC game brah, but I agree.

Also this is going to sound like a joke, but Euro Truck Simulator 2. I sometimes play that game, set the rain probability to 100% and throw on some emo podcasts or whatever. That game has insanely good rain effects.

Never has there been a bigger disparity between how much I loved a game as a kid and how much it fucking terrifies me as an adult.
