I was bored and started thinking and I thought about album cover art and how sometimes it's really cool and sometimes it's just really lame or trying too hard. Or how like whether or not someone likes a band effects someones idea of an album cover. Even like does the album cover effect your opinion on the albums music? Does it make you like it more in certain cases?
I was just kidding with "SKRAMZ" I mean like albums or material by all bands punk, screamo, hardcore, etc.
For example: Good -
I just like stared at this for half an hour the first time I saw it.
Citycop
I've always thought this album cover was just huge, raw, unfiltered chunks of bad ass.
Jeromes Dream.
pg.99 &
Majority Rule split
Bad- Bad cover art as in nothing against the actual band of course. Like:
Joshua Fit for Battle
For some reason this cover just really bothers me...
Love Like... Electrocution

also that city cop cover looks a little lame IMO. i think the like poorly sketched out drawing thats crudely put on the cover of something can be cool, but i feel like that drawing is somewhere in between good and completely lazy, leaning more to the lazy side of things.

I don't think I need to specify which it is.

Although relatively generic I've always thought this was really pretty.
I'm also a fan of the ...Who Calls so Loud art.
And while I like this album, I've never been fond of the art.

YEAH! who calls so loud has really cool album artwork.
also Idylls "Farewell All Joy" has some of the best illustration for a release in recent times in my opinion
sorry i could totally nerd out about all of this stuff, album art is very important to me.

Tapes of a Neon God is one of the coolest labels doing some excellent artwork for all of their tapes.

I've always thought that the vinyl release of To Bring Our Own End had a far worse cover, but that's just me.
