I think that IS good artwork. It makes use of the negative space in a good way. I think it stands out in a good way.

I suppose, it seems like there wasn't a whole lot of thought put into it, there's not really anything besides some good looking minimalistic squiggles. Not saying you have to have a deep cover etc, but it seems shallow to me.

Don't get me wrong that's my opinion, I feel like the cover could have been so much more

Aside from being an absolutely amazing album, that cover artwork is gorgeous. For the longest time I thought I was just looking at mountains or something, similar to In the Nightside Eclipse and one day it just hit me that I was looking at a heart.
