Off the top of my head:
Republic of Dreams: Because of their side of the split with Beau Navire. Seriously, that's some next level shit.
Mahria: their self titled LP is amazing. I get the impression these folks are on the younger side so I'm interested to see how they evolve.
Fox Moulder: a great live band and cuddly bunch of guys.
Aspergers: Just go listen to that shit. It's off the hook.
Off Camber: chaotic, technical with an angry layer of vocals on top.
Others I've been frequenting: Gillian Carter, Nurture, Coma Regalia, For Want Of, Itto, Lord Snow, Kids.
Dirtdrinker comes out here next month.
Mahria and For Want Of will be here in August.
I'm pleased with what all these bands are churning out these days.
There are quite a lot of good bands out there right now..

Gas up yr hearse is playing hear very soon and I believe we're playing the show. I've been meaning to check them out. Can you post some bandcamp links to some of the others that you think are top notch?

I'm excited for the NJ GUYH show. Last time I talked to Tyler, he wasn't sure where he was booking it, but it should be really cool- those guys are good dudes.
Re: There are quite a lot of good bands out there right now.
I have a lot of free time at work so I just listened to these:
Gas up yr hearse! - The higher pitched vocals will take a bit for me to get used to. Musically it's chaotic and interesting though.
Woglake - The song writing seems nicely done. There are some very intense moments that use some good dynamics. But the recording quality makes it tough to enjoy fully
The truth about dreaming - Reminded me a little bit of Funeral Diner. The recording quality is a little muffled and some of the guitar tones are a bit too tinny sounding. I don't love it, but I don't hate it.
Anne hero - It has a nice blend of Botch-esque guitar parts, almost like Botch on crack. Short songs, but they do enough in their time span. Good recording quality. Pretty sweet.
Old soul - This is fucking awesome. It has a totally epic quality to it. I would imagine this drummer being totally exhausted after playing these songs.
Yusuke -If the drums were better recorded I think I would like this more. It's hard to really get the full experience on a recording like this.
