Which part of Saitama did he move in? There are lots of highly-urbanized cities in Saitama too. The city where I reside is just right. It's peacefully serene but I could get to Tokyo in an hour or so via train.ghep wrote:my brother moved to saitama about 10 months ago... he doesnt like it much, looking for a more quiet place in the country-side...iKichigai wrote:I live in a typical, quiet Japanese suburb. Ah,it's closer to Tokyo, it means Ageo City, it's just a couple of stops away from mine. I live in Fukaya-shi. What does he do btw if you don't mind me asking? Anyway, I dunno, maybe? I think it depends on your apartment. In ours, we actually can drink tap water.ghep wrote: i dont know exactly... but part of his address is "ageo-shi" and "kawarabuki", if this can help you... i really have no idea how japanese addresses work... he told me they dont even have drinkable water in the house... is that possible??
He might wanna move to Chichibu. Still in Saitama but it's the countryside.

eh... he's a skilled musician, a sound/stage technician, also studied permaculture and totally is into bio-diesel/growing organic vegetables/cooking/self-making clothes and stuff out of hemp... you know, that kind of stuff! the problem is that he's still learning japanese (we are from north-east italy) and his wife is japanese and wanted to move there... basically he is looking for a job, because they have two (FANTASTIC!) kids already... but he's having a HARD time finding one!iKichigai wrote:Ah,it's closer to Tokyo, it means Ageo City, it's just a couple of stops away from mine.
