This book really exists and it's written by Wataru Tsurumi.
Kanzen Jisatsu Manyuaru
There's this forest called Aokigahara (also known as Sea of Trees) at the foot of Mt. Fuji where lots people commit suicide since the 1950's. This manual said it's "the perfect place to die." Every year there's an annual body search conducted in the forest. On average, there are 30 suicides reported to have taken place in the forest every year (excluding the bodies that were never found at all of course).
I might take a visit there one of these days just to check it out. Then again maybe not.
These poor people.
"Your life is a precious gift from your parents.
Please reconsider and think about them and the rest of your family.
You don't have to suffer alone."

Lots of the images aren't working... Curious about that place though, must be a damn nice forest, though probably badly littered. Although the police might clean it all up, that'd be nice...

heard of this book before. everyone should have the right to take their own life and i don't see anything wrong with creating a book that explains the results and process of each method.

I remember there was a book that came out a year or two ago that explained the best (least painful, humiliating, ect.) ways to kill yourself. I support.

I always thought jumping off a tall building is the best way to go. Instant death when you hit the ground and it's like you're on an amusement park ride on the way down so you go out with a little fun.
