They had a giant fest that I wish I went to this past Saturday.
They got an eviction notice Monday.

Hi all, I am a collective member of the Che Cafe and just to give a update we got the eviction notice on Monday, we have till this Tuesday at 6am(the 24th of March) to vacate the building. We are holding a rally that morning starting at 5am to let the community's voice be heard, hopefully you can make it out(not sure how far you live from san diego).

And unfortunately yes we do use our facebook page a lot to update the mass of our supporters but we also use the blogspot as well! and other social medias such as tumblr, twitter, instagram, etc.... so hopefully one of those helps ya out!

hey y'all, myself and two of my friends are making a documentary about DIY spaces in SoCal that is focusing mainly on the Che and their recent struggles with the university administration (and touching upon the 30+ year conflict between the two). We just released a trailer a few weeks ago and you can find it below. We are hoping to be done with the whole thing by late next month.

As for more updates, PJ is on tour so I don't think he's been able to update, so I'd be happy to fill in. Though, it's actually probably better explained by some of the news reports made at the rally he was speaking about. (Cameron, who speaks in many of the interviews, is one of the other two people who are making the documentary with me. The other person is named Miranda, who is a documentarian by trade, as well as Cam's partner).
