Uhh was men as trees a two piece? I liked them a bit. Love die emperor die, also from Houston was a band called a silhouette, they started as a two piece and played like that for awhile until they added a bassist.

The Pessimist Hangs The Optimist was a nice band. They know play in eyelet.

Tiny Hawks was a mid 2000's band that I liked quite a bit. Great two piece work:

Anyone remember Hoop Dreamz ? They were a 2 piece from Texas featuring members from Trifle Tower, Tennage Cool Kids, Dark Forces etc.
