Ha! I'm doing... a lot better than when we were first in touch. Learning about myself, blah blah blah. Taking some classes at the community college here, so I'm meeting new people on a regular basis. It's really wonderful, to be honest. I've also been spending less time online and more time with tactile pursuits - film photography, printmaking, writing letters - which feels a lot better than spending hours on the internet. Still writing music - in fact, I've finally found a drummer and am working on putting together a full band, which I'm really excited about. All in all, things are going great. Thanks for asking! How about yourself?relaxiwontpost wrote:ah, yeah I thought it was you. hi! I remember you! I'm still not senile, woot! how's things?
Exsqueese me. Match is for the bourgeoisie. I'm a strictly OKCupid kinda guy. Actually, I just spend way too much time in the library and talk to people I should probably leave alone.pygmyprieta wrote:on the edge of my chair waiting for some dank underground skrammo and you guys are having a match.com meetup

sounds good. the Web can be quite toxic, and pursuing something more immediate can be more rewarding. good luck with putting together a band, and be sure to post some stuff here when you've got that sorted out.Algernon Wymondham wrote:Ha! Interesting! I'll respond to this via email in order to not further provoke the wrath of CharlieBronson. What's your current email address?relaxiwontpost wrote:sounds good. the Web can be quite toxic, and pursuing something more immediate can be more rewarding. good luck with putting together a band, and be sure to post some stuff here when you've got that sorted out.
I'm doing well, thank you. I work as a hacker/computer science researcher. presently I am working on free e-learning module authoring suitable for non-technical users, in order to a) liberate users from the dividing and subjugation of proprietary software, and b) offer a ladder for the residents at the bottom of the pyramid -- in this case -- unfortunately, the ones that matter the most in e-learning -- the students themselves, and also to some extent teachers. if you're ever tremendously bored and/or interested in e-learning, see this draft of our paper: https://secure.plaimi.net/papers/2015-0 ... aching.pdf -- it was what secured us our current funding.
