yo, who's currently active and doing stuff? screamo/emo is definitely not as active as it was a few years ago.

some current killer bands

lord snow
https://lordsnow.bandcamp.com/

kuronuma (st. john's newfoundland skramz)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlo6riikaaA

blind girls (australian screamo)
https://blindgirls.bandcamp.com/

hiera (ontario shotmaker worship)

by Off Cloud Nine Label
Under a sky so blue
Celebration
The Truth About Dreaming
Caust (& all the other VA bands they are in)
Youth Novel
Marcy
Ice Hockey

Killer screamo is around. It's just not hyped up everywhere on the internet these days because the wave crashed.

I'm pretty enthusiastic about how things are right now. Maybe the scene's been more active before, but what has been coming out has been really solid.

I'd recommend keeping up with Coma Regalia, Caust, The Cambodian Heat, The Truth About Dreaming, The Cage You Call a Chest, Gas Up Yr Hearse!!, Under a Sky So Blue

I'm sure there are others. I've just gotten my band started now, as a matter of fact, and I'm very excited for that. I've seen both Ice Hockey and Ostraca this year and they've both been great. This isn't a bad year for screamo at all.
