In the class I am TA-ing for, all the undergrads were like "Can we get out early so we can go to the football game?". Messed up.

I got out of my class just now and I could see, hear, and feel the crowd over at the stadium as I walked to the library.

let's just forget
everything said
and everything we did
best friends, better halves, goodbyes

and the autumn night
when we realized
we were falling out of love

there were some things
that were said
that weren't meant
like we never did

not to be
overly dramatic

i just think it's best
cause you can't miss what you forget

so let's just pretend
everything and anything
between you and me
was never meant

but seriously, J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS...college football is boring

honestly,

i like nfl but it is really more boring than college. the players make too much money so they either a. dont give a shit if they play well or not or b. are instructed to take it easy so they wont get hurt (qbs).

this is the reason you see so many different offenses in college - because they can actually play their players and those players are trying to be noticed so they play hard. up until a few years ago virtually every nfl team was a pro set o. the only time players actually play to their potential in the nfl is when they are in the last year of a contract because they need to resign or get a better offer.

A bunch of drunken lobotomized troglodytes in spandex (or whatever) bumping each other's heads. That's pretty my understanding (or the lack thereof) of football. Who enjoys watching this?

Every drunken white male in America with a big screen TV he can't really afford, but wants to impress his "friends" from his mediocre office job with. Yet, he knows as soon as they leave his wife will stop serving chips and cheap beer and go back to having postpartum depression he couldn't care less about as long as he gets to watch dudes in facepaint and tights jump on eachother.
