btw I found out after posting here that SOPHIE had finally put out an album. that's definitely worthy of a mention. it, unfortunately, feels like a compilation of singles rather than an album. perhaps because that's what it very likely *is*. but you can't fault the individual songs. one of the most important releases this side of the century, no doubt.
