Seeing them tomorrow night for the first time, what should I expect?

joy
chaos
freedom
arms flailing
hypnotic rhythms
crescendos to heaven
utter breakdown of humanity
the tightest band you've ever heard
old balding men with big beards finding religion
and the total collapse of the theatre to "the sad mafioso"

There was a time I listened to them 24/7. Saw them live last year. Bored me to tears.

 Savage

They are here in March. Had the chance to get tickets but srs couldn't see myself just standing in one place for 90 or so minutes waiting for the buildups. Would rather just listen to the records on full blast at home.

*edit: I think they might be playing the recital hall so it would be a seated concert. :?

if you are just "waiting for the buildups" then you fundamentally don't get what they're doing. this isn't eits lol. anyway, if you like the records you should catch them live for sure. they never do the same thing twice, and the way they put their movements together live is really interesting. especially the début & lift yr skinny fists stuff. seated gig is a bit underwhelming though.

seated gig is a step down from a barrier gig.
I'm seeing cannibal corpse on the 21st and the venue has barriers and I didn't find out until after I bought my ticket.
I've never been to a show with barriers. I can only imagine it blows

seats > barriers, usually. depends on the genre and artist and whatever. but floor gigs 4 lief.
