Good stuff to riding bicycles to?

Post by _JT »

You guys have go-to stuff when you ride your bike? Or do you not listen to anything for fear of skinning your knees?

I live in a rural area so bikepaths are perfect for jamming tunes on with no one around. I like Spirit of Versailles, I Hate Myself, and some Seeing Means More for when I want to ride my bike and stare off into the flat midwestern landscape. Could use other suggestions though. I typically stick to hardcore/screamo stuff when riding my bike anyway, but some stuff just works better than other stuff.

Also happy to be here, glad I found a place that probably hates Modern Baseball as much as I do.

Based on what you say you listen to while biking, I'd recommend Eyes of Verotika, In Loving Memory, Sinking Steps Rising Eyes, and when you're in a patient mood, maybe listen to some The Fall of Efrafa and Suffocate for Fuck's Sake.

idk I think riding bikes can be ride bikes. but owning a bike whilst living in a city (outside of Japan or other countries where theft barely happens) is most certainly not ride bikes. good call on I HAVE DREAMS though. maybe add some Mogwai and Jed Kurzel.

My bad, meant literally riding a bicycle. I can see how I confused some. Though I guess I could do both at the same time.

I live in the city and commute via bike. It's great. I've been doing it for awhile and can listen to anything now and enjoy it. But I do have a screamo playlist
Love lost but not forgotten
Et tu brute (I like post rocky build ups, nice for cruising)
Cowboys become folk heroes
Great redneck hope
Machine gun romantics (more powervoilence than anything but super catchy and youthcore)
Comadre
Deers!
Four hundred years (their not as heavy but still work great for rides)
Raein
Faithhealer (heavy hardcore band from Austin Texas that use to e a screamo band called architects. Shit is so fun to ride your bike to)

I dunno really anything heavy is fun

Elders, los crudos, limp wrist, punch, raw nerve, refused, miss icon, failures.
love yourself, no one else will
