Kage Bunshin/Keith Orzech Split 10" (sunrise.sunset)

Post by sunrisesunset »

Greetings all,

First off, thanks to everyone who bought the sunrise.sunset discography 10" & 7". I just wanted to let some of you know that my next release was just sent out, and it's a Kage Bunshin/Keith Martin Orzech split 10". Here's a link to some more information, free downloads, and tracks to stream.

A little background:
Keith Orzech was the creative mind and song writer behind sunrise.sunset. After he moved away, he started Kage Bunshin. They sound like a heavier, yet catchier sunrise.sunset. The only frustrating thing about Kage Bunshin was that they never had a chance to make a "quality" recording. They were scheduled to record a full length at Dead Air Studios with Will Killingsworth (of Orchid), but Keith passed away before that could happen. They did, however, make two demos, one was just Keith and Christian goofing around and really getting to know each other, and one with the full band in a garage with only one mic. Both of these are included on the 10".
The Keith tracks are from the soundtrack of a movie never made and are pretty diverse, interesting, and experimental. The songs range from drone (Atropine) to indie/screamo (Grass Plots...), and there's really pretty but melancholy instrumental (Happier).
Anyway, most of the tracks are available for free download, and the rest will be up shortly.
