Screamo in 2018 - Cringey?

I find that I'm not nearly as dramatic of a person as I used to be so I don't relate with the lyrical content at all anymore. Sometimes, and I have memories of feeling that way, but the me of today is a lot more cold chill no matter what. Even in my darkest hour, Im not likely to use a term like, "my darkest hour."

Often dig the music a lot though still. Its a shame I cant remember so many bands I sued to have mp3s of. Never was a record collector or a collector of anything that isnt digital.

edit: oh, modern 2018 screamo. Eh. I haven't even tried it though I might. , maybe. I imagine it would be very cahracteristic of young people and the scene today and that sounds extremely unappealing.
