Has anyone here tried eating apples dipped in salt?

I couldn't eat apples without salt and I don't know anyone who eats apples as I do.
Everybody just seem to cringe whenever they hear me talk about it. But whatevs.


IMPORTANT EDIT: I FORGOT TO MENTION THIS AND I HATE MYSELF FOR EVAR FORGETTING THIS:

I eat apples with vinegar (hot pepper mixed with it) and dip em in salt. This is true.
And my taste buds explode in volcanic happiness every time I eat it and just the thought of it makes me salivate like Pavlov's dogs.

ok that's weird. do you just dip them whole in salt ? or do you cut pieces and dip them as you go ?

Whole or in pieces as long as it has salt I has eated it.

here in the southern US it is pretty common to put salt on watermelon. it did not seem out of the ordinary when i was young. i guess it does not taste bad but watermelon is much better without it.

this would also be similar to dipping your french fries into a wendy's frosty(like a chocolate milkshake). for some reason everyone loves doing this.

edit: this post should totally be in the main forum. it is more important than a lot of posts in there.

the stupid bullshit forum was just a place to move stuff like spam or huge flame wars.
